Given that, as any fule kno, Hearts won the Great War, what other wars were won by organisations that had next to **** all to do with it?

Shouldn't be so hard on them - even if the tories didn't win the cold war they did win the Falkland's war and it can get quite chilly down there.

And since we're due another war with Argentina then maybe it's only right that they win the general election.

The war on terror was won by.........eh......
The war of the roses was definitely won by Michael Douglas.

As well as the Great War, I think you'll find that Hearts also went head-to-head with the Queen Mum for the accolade of WW2 victors.

Ah, one remembers those days well; when honour, rather than £13,000 per week, was sufficient to induce a young chap to don the bloodied turd shirt and risk life and limb in the trenches...
