Only 2 on target. 1 goal.

Just not good enough Hibs.

Hibernian 1-0 Kilmarnock

That would suggest it was good enough.

I can think of 6 on target straight away.

Some dodgy counting going on there IMO. I can think of six shots on target off the top of my head.

Riordan forced a good (flying) save to the keeper's left in the first half

Stokes had a low shot tipped round the post in the first half. The twat of a referee gave a goal kick - such a poor decision that even Calderwood was laughing about it.

The penalty

Benji had a low shot held by the keeper to his left

The goal

Stokes had another low shot tipped round the post in the second half.

That's not to say it wasn't a poor game. But to say that Hibs had only two shots on goal today isn't true.

I think the OP has taken the stats from the BBC site?

Not accurate IMO.

eg. Killie had no shots on target? Thats BS for a start, I remember Stack saving a header from a corner late on.

1 goal. 3 points. Good enough for me.

there was more than 2 on target.

riordan 1st half from outside area
stokes- where keeper ended up over the line-just keeping the ball out
benji header
another where the keeper made a diving save and held(2n, dk who it was
a left foot tame effort (danny)

the pen

and the goal

not that thats enough, seem to be having real problems creating chances/ getting the ball into good areas, though at the end we were getting a bit more into it

Here's how reliable those BBC stats are.

Newcastle 6-1 Barnsley

Newcastle had 5 shots on target, apparently.

:wtf:

Also interesting to note that the referee sent off the Barnsley goalkeeper for a "last man" trip on a forward.

But most games, having only 2 shots on target won't bring us 3 points. We need to improve. It was Killie we were playing, they are man-for-man pisher than us remember!

Stack never had a save to make in the whole game. I'd love 6 shots at some people.

lets worry about the other games when they happen , this game hibs 1 goal for 0 against thats all that matters we got the 3 points
