No :dunno:

He's injured at the moment and perhaps wanted to see his boyhood heroes as being with another club he's not going to get the chance to do it very often.

Many players do it :agree:

He'll be back at Hibs one day, i'm 99% sure of that. The passion he has for the club is unbelievable, even moreso considering he wasn't a boyhood Hibby.

The big fella is indeed a top guy, used to speak to him a fair bit when he had his house in Haddy.

I was near him after the game and he was signing autographs somebody asked him if he would be rejoining hibs and he said you never know. I said your kidding and he said you never know. To me it was a wind up as the boy he was with says he would rejoin for £10,000 a week so no chance of that.

He said you never know when I said aye right no chance of that. he could have just kept quiet after that and not said you never know and try to give the impression that something will happen.

Garry O has said in the past that he wants to finish his career at Easter Road. Who's to say - the more dosh he makes just now would make that more of a possibility.

He just needs to look at Anthony Stokes to see that a stint at ER can get you back on the radar again.

Garry can easily afford a drop in wages if it gets him another big move in 2 or 3 years.

I would love to see Garry back at ER knocking lumps out of SPL defenders again:agree: Defenders would not be relishing the prospect thats for sure.

He could play the Nish role, and he's Faster, stronger, fitter, better in the air, better on the ground and is a more clinical finisher.:greengrin

Maybe like Pat Nevin he began by supporting celtc but I could easily believe that he has jumped ship now to the Hibs.

He has said that many times. Apparently he gets ripped by is Birmingham team mates about how loaded he is from his time in Russia so I'd imagine cash may not be has main motivator

He's injured at the moment and he is also out of contract at the end of the season IIRC.

Can't see McLeish letting him go without a fight. He was outstanding at the beginning of the seaon

Nope.definately a celt.always has been and id put money on always will be.of course loyaltys dont come into it when he plays and iv no doubt he has a soft spot for us but that doesnt mean hes a hibs man/suporter.

I get the impression that Garry would come back as some sort of big time Charlie and disrupt the dressing room.

i dont think he is a hibby he certainly has a soft spot for us who wouldnt in his circumstance connections with us has made a lot of young men very rich recently, tam mcmanus was the same not in talent but into having developed deep affections for hibs tam always said now he is a hibs man. Does anyone remember when they both used to go to parkhead tho? as quoted "to study henrick larson and the celtic strikers and their movement" aye right:blah:.
Dont think he will be back would be great would Garry be disruptive if he came back i dont know but he has the talent certainly always seemed to play well against hearts which is always good:thumbsup:

Gary Smith was part of the 2 best Hibs sides I've seen. Big Eck's 2000 side and Mogga's first season.
