How come there's been no speculation on here about this guy? Seems to me we've got one of those"triple X" scandals brewing here. The kind that weegie politics do so well, especially when there's a danger of someone actually achieving something.

I don't know what the guy is hiding from, but that "chemical dependency" announcement that was stopped (good job or people would be speculating about its meaning) was just nasty.

Any other thoughts on what they are not telling us? We can only speculate of course.

To answer your first question, it's the 44 miles thing. Do we care about what happens over there?

Of course, there's a lot to come out, but I am normally in the camp of "if it's a personal issue, it's none of our business". Thus far, I feel for the guy...

However, I am more concerned that his deputy, Jim Coleman, is in charge for the moment.....

My concern is that the weegies are a force in the national parliament. I dont want to see this vicious approach adapted on a wider scale.

Those people have been dragging the West down for years.

:agree: You have to ask yourself why anybody would instruct a Solicitor when resigning their position on the grounds they're suffering from 'exhaustion'.

It's not the 'weegies' or the 'West' - it's the entire country!!

And, for clarity, it's called 'The Labour Party of Westminster in Scotland!
