Why did it have a wall down the very front, and how come there were six blocks in the upper tier, later reduced to five?
The wall was presumably there because it was at the bottom of the slope

The upper tier had the black seats with normal seats behind.

This had Hibs supporters throwing abuse and objects at OF fans in hospitality in the black seats. It was reorganized to avoid this.
