Very nice work. Is the east going to be slightly lower than the other three stands (as in 1st pic)?

i dont think we can take the size as being exact i think this guy has probably took a guess however as there is no dividing tier could be slightly smaller. He is an aberdeen fan so doesnt want to make us look too good mibbe note the emphasis in his discription about it being the 4th biggest stadium in SPL not 3rd more of a stadium than pittodrie which means dump i think

When it is complete he will be correct BUT ER will be the largest all covered of the two. Pittodrie ("dung hill") has 8400 of it's capacity of 22,199 un-covered (according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pittodrie_Stadium)). Just as well it's always sunny in Aberdeen .

plus unrestricted unlike pittodrie which is essentially (cept for the big stand an old main stand) seats on terraces like the old east

Excellent work

By the way the new stand will be the same height as the others - single tier though.

How good would it look with corners filled in though :greengrin

No danger do the uncovered sections in the corners hold 4200 each.

There is no chance more than 1/3 of Pittodrie is uncovered.

The guy who designed them could get a job developing stadiums for Fifa 11

wiki: re dung hill seats

South Stand
Named simply after its position within the ground, the South Stand was originally an undeveloped embankment which was later remodelled as a standing terrace. Seating and a cantilever roof were later added, although some of the 8,400 seats remain uncovered. Since 1993 the easternmost part of the stand has been used to house away fans. Sections P, Q and R are designated for this purpose, however for matches against the Old Firm (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Old_Firm) this increases to sections S and T and beyond if needed, stretching to the halfway line. The television (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Television) gantry and commentary (http://www.hibs.net/wiki/Play-by-play) positions are housed in this stand.

Don't suppose you could set this up again as I am getting a message stating "the limit of 10 downloads of this file has been reached" and therefore can't get it downloaded? :boo hoo:

Much appreciated if you could! :agree: :cool2:

Both of the Easter Road stadiums look brilliant! Having just one of the corners filled actually gives it a certain character that I think would be lost if it was fully enclosed (sort of akin to the Britannia Stadium).

The front five rows of the South stand are uncovered, along with both corners. However, that's nowhere near 8,400, maybe 2,500-3,000 or thereabouts.

Be careful what you read on Wikipedia, it's just numpties like us that write the articles.
