Instead of chasing the crowd out on Saturday, they could have left them,.... the whole lot would be down by now. :greengrin

Well, who knew?

judging by that picture there was indeed drainage pipework from the old 'toilets' (term used loosely)

Thanks for the picture

Looks like the south end of the East has been got at too.....

Wonder how much will be left come Saturday...

I hope those floodlights are stored securely when they come down.

Wouldn't surprise me if a couple of shifty-looking blokes in pink satin reversible blousons were skulking about them, trying to nick the bulbs :agree:

Big teams only need three floodlights.

The glow of self satisfaction from having their own war memorial should illuminate the stadium.

I'd much rather see it completely demolished on saturday than see it in pieces, won't happen though.

The club had a video cam on the destruction and rebuilding of the West Stand.

Why can't they do the same with the new East?

Hum...Sure it would be easy to fix one up in the West or the Famous Five again ?

Though I can imagine I will be checking it every day to see how things are going :greengrin

Anyone ?

Wonder if anyone's thought about recycling the floodlights at East Mains?

Exclusive footage from the Mibbescamİ, located at a secure vantage point in the PBS, reveals no progress in the replacement of the lightbulb.

Early reports, and these are unconfirmed, suggest that a second lightbulb may have gone.

How many Jambos does it take to change a lightbulb?

Think you'll find that any change will have to be approved by the Top Table, and only after a two-thirds majority vote by G69 followed by a plenary session of the Federation of Shareholders.

All lightbulbs must be acquired from a 'source' in the Baltic postcode area. The lightbulbs themselves are free, but there's a small registration fee required :agree:

We're doing a timelapse movie which can be seen by CLICKING HERE (http://www.hibs.net/message/showthread.php?t=175763).

I believe the club are doing a webcam, presumably from the West stand, but it isn't up and running yet.

If they'd been reading hibs.net they would have known it was coming and could have got themselves organised :tee hee:

A source close to the club suggests the funds were in place for new bulbs thanks to a raffle and some tireless charity work but the proceeds mysteriously vanished....

I'd imagine they will have something up and running in the west stand by the time the site has been cleared ready to begin the building works.

IICR the webcam was up and running before the demolition of the old stand had started.

I know we are almost debt free, have our own training ground, will shortly have one the best stadiums in the country and have a number of former Premiership stars in our squad, but for Gods sake Petrie, get it sorted!!!!!

looking at pics you realise just how much soil there is to move from rear and what a big space there still is behind stand

Judging by the time-lapse, that orange JCB thing is slower than Nish :greengrin

not bad, but the stand is too close to the pitch. There's a fairly big gap between the end stands and the new one.

Did we get the Molton Brown toiletries and the vast range of expensive fragrancies out of the bogs before it was bulldozed?!

There was nothing better than going into the toilets at half time, putting a £1 on the silver plate and helping yourself. If the football was duff, you felt fresh.

You'd never known it was so plush from the outside.
