Costs nothing to list items under £0.99 on E-Bay these days. Still have to pay a %age if your item sells, but the listings won't have cost him anything.

Jeez! baffling assortment, wonder if he is just going around sweeping the streets in random parts of Scotland then posting everything in the shovel on Ebay, only thing that seems to be missing is dust, unless he is selling that as well and I have missed it. Definitely yammish though.
