I'm not sure if this update will make it into the movie as the pics were taken later in the day and are much darker.

You can clearly see in this one that the floodlights are being dismantled and the one on the far left has no lights left in it..............

Aye and I'm popping down later this evening to get the turf that wouldn't fit in the van on Saturday. :greengrin

You forget how much land behind the east the club owns and which will be used for the development - unlike our yam neighbours :faf:

If they are taking the lights down then they must surely be putting temp ones in for this weekends game ?

2 o'clock kick off apparently, might no need any.

Don't think they will need to the temporary floodlights apart from the Wednesday night game against Dundee.Utd as Saturday's game and the Ross County game are both 2 o'clock kick offs.

Aye, the club's always been quite canny. Even when the huge terrace was in place, Tom Hart still had the presence of mind to buy and fill in the old railway line to extend the club's footprint way to the Lochend side. Hence the millions made in selling for flats and still enough room for a full size east stand :agree:

I've got a picture of him too.......amusingly enough, I believe he may have been caught on camera (http://www.yourlothiansmsp.com/common/images/GeorgeFoulkes2.jpg) with the subject of another thread on the board by Sergey.

He needs to look at the company he's keeping :greengrin

The £51M super-stand project is to be scaled back somewhat to something more affordable in this current economic climate.

Hearts hope to have the funds in place to build something like this
