Not to worry, I'm sure Vlad negotiated a fantastic sell-on clause into the sale...

The pink daily understands that the Gigliati have settled on a €4 million fee with their fellow Tuscan club to sign the 26-year-old next summer.

Just shows you a player can improve and come good, even a Sw1necastle one.

Bednar was gash and permanently injured while with Hearts. he went to West Brom and has done very well.

Goncalves was also rubbish after a bright start. A spell away on loan and he was back to his best. Now he appears to have Vladflu.

A warning to players. Stay too long at Tynecastle and you will become rubbish.

Was it not the case that he was released, rather than transfered?

If so then I cant see there being any sell-on clause .. and if there was then the cash will be heading in more of a north-east than a north-west direction.

His contract was terminated and he was shown the door.

He'll have been at Vasco De Gama, Apollon Limassol and Grosseto before he kicks a ball for Fiorentina. I don't know of any sell on clauses that stretch over 3 clubs

I bet Vlad is on the phone 'Give me some cash for all I done for you'. Wouldn't put it past him!

Wasn't he the original John Terry style incident? With Luis Jimenez's wife, except it was him that got kicked out of the squad...
