I'd hope the guy playing the tunes would put some thought into the music for tomorrow. Ideally it should get the place bouncing and be appropriate for the day. My suggestions would be a mixture of songs that remind me of the place and songs whose lyrics fit;

Slade - Memory (Thanks for the mem'ry, thanks for it all, Wham bam, thank you mam, thanks for the ball)

Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun (...but the joy didn't last, cos the...)

and possibly a bit of Sunshine on Leith at the end.

Probably asking for too much, he's not renown for putting much thought into what he says, or the choice of music.

Do all grounds not play the same CD? I thought that was why at any game in the last few months you can hear the Don't Stop Believing song from the end of the Sopranos blaring out at either HT/FT.

Must be SPL criteria or something. No doubt it's all Gordon Smith's fault - him and his cronies. :grr:

If anyone from the club is reading this, please regardless of the result play Sunshine on Leith just after the final whistle goes. Belting that out for our last 5 minutes in the terracing would be some moment.

I think our DJ is Gavin Pearson, well it use to be (from Radio Clyde, don't hold that against him as I think he IS a Hibs fan)? Someone else will know this. If so he can be contacted at:-

Cracking tune.

Whenever I think of the PA I'm stuck with the 2 songs from the 70's that were never off the tannoy. Turnbull's tornados and Wizzard's Angel fingers - I'm sure that was still getting played in the 90's.
