Off to Rome to-day with a bunch of mates for the 6 Nations. The last time I visited the Vatican I had to change from Shorts to long trousers
Does anyone know what the score is with Kilts ?

I think you may get flogged with knotted rope but might be wrong there. I'm sure a number of women go in there with skirts so the rules will be the same. As long as it's not a short thing and stops way above the knee

On a side not, there's a pizza restaurant on the road that runs straight in front of the St Peter's that you have to go to. It's on the left walking down the road away from the place. It looks quite swanky and expensive but it's fairly cheap. The pizzas are guaranteed to be the best you've ever tasted in this lifetime and quite possibly the next.

Can't see a problem, they seem more concerned about protecting paedo-priests than worrying about wobbly knees (but that's another days discussion :fuming:). I wore a very very very bright pair of shorts and a Hibs top there last summer and no problem...

Thanks everyone.
That Pizza Joint sounds great, just a pity you could not remember it's name but it sounds so good I'll do my best to track it down

Goin by the pictures on their website, I think it's this place here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=vatican&sll=53.800651,-4.064941&sspn=23.173984,53.569336&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=Vatican+City&ll=41.902381,12.464011&spn=0.001773,0.00327&t=h&z=19&layer=c&cbll=41.902383,12.46415&panoid=ejnqlBgqSYE_th_wWPbvRQ&cbp=12,351.7,,0,11.94):

Scroll left on the street view to get your bearings from St Peter's.

You'll be fine with yer kilt...just don't talk aboot D Findlay and his stand up comedy routine nor mention you share a land mass with the vile huns.

...your soul will thereafter be safe til you commit mortal sin again.

Sorted. Go in peace. Glory Glory to the almighty (Hibees) :greengrin

Shorts have to be knee length so as long as your kilt is not a mini you should be fine. :greengrin

Guven the Pope's rather outspoken remarks on gay rights, men in skirts may be given a frosty welcome!

God seems to be very fussy when it comes to the way people dress. You'd think he'd have bigger fish to fry.
