Will the folks in the new flats get to see the games when the East comes down before the new stand starts to get put up?

Not much view from their windaes when the new stand is up 'though!

Pretty sure to get free view, you will require an aerial.

Get her one of the old east toilets for her Christmas. She could use it as a plant holder (there's been plenty varieties of plants flushed down it over the years). That should put you in her good books for ever. :greengrin

Does anyone have a decent picture of the Old Gorgie Road end at Tynecastle?

Seems mental now to think that those people had a perfect free view for all those years!

With always a good few Hibs flags draped out the windows on derby days.

Did a couple of young ladies not give some observant fans a rather good view from the East during a match towards the end of last season? :dunno: :hmmm:

Was sure I recall reading reports about it on here! :greengrin

Reminds me of when we played St Johnstone at Tynie in the CIS Cup semi in 2007. Some Yam clown thought he was smart hanging his precious 1998 Scottish Cup flag oot his windae in Gorgie Road. What he didn't take into account was the fact that one of our lads climbed up and set it on fire.

No not me but I know that the Yam was gutted that his cup souvenir had been well and truly blazed.
