Can anyone remember a friendly match between Hibs and Seville??

I'm pretty sure it was the mid to late 80s, and I'm sure it was on a Sunday afternoon and it was lashing with rain.. Also pretty sure we had just done work on the East terracing, either re-roofing it or downscaliing the size..

Think we got beat or won 2-0, Jock Wallace was the Seville manager and had a hard time keeping his bench in check at some of the refs decisions, don't think it was raining though IIRC it was a pre season friendly played in the sun, hazy days then for me :agree: :rolleyes:

My first game! I can remember nothing about it, other than it was (I think) in 1986.

Was certain I hadn't imagined this game, but couldnt find anything on the internet relating to it. Although my dad had been taking me to Hibs games since I was about 2 years old, this was my first proper memory of the East terracing and I was only 5 years old .... This along with the League cup final in 1985 vs Aberdeen at Hampden are my first real memories of watching Hibs ... :thumbsup:
