Like every other Hibs supporter I was shocked and dissapointed to lose so heavily against Rangers in second half and Saints last night. Our goal difference has taken a huge dip as well but lets look at the whole picture.
on our day we are without a doubt the Best footballing side in the whole league. what we lack is consistancy and this will happen when a new team is being built. against rangers we played the best football in the first half, Boyd should have been sent off for his assault on Zouma. Whitaker left the field of play to celebrate his goal after he had already been booked another who by the letter of the law should have been off and Miller's penalty award was a blatant dive. The Rangers game was always going to be difficult to win, they were desperate to beat us and in Glasgow we dont expect favours. It is because we are doing so well that we went into the game with confidence. As for the St Johnstone game everything went wrong. They wanted to win the game more than us and were right up for it. Some of our past lethergy crept in again to our play where some of our players could not be bothered others felt sorry for themselves and others were just lazy or had an off night. The positives far out weigh the negatives. Whatever anyone says whether they say its luck or not WE proudly sit in third place and we also have an excellent chance of a Scottish cup semi final appearance. lets be united and stick together for the final push on two fronts. Third place or perhaps an outside chance of second celtic are in a real mess just now and a Final to the Scottish Cup Final. Yes the last couple of results have been hard to take and yes we should not forget that but learn that other teams are gunning for us because they see that beating us is a feather in their cap. As yogi said this could be the kick up the backside some of the team needed. If we learn to work harder together and help each other on the park and give 100% we can ask no more. Off the park We have to give the Team 100% backing and cheer them to victory. yes we will have other dissapointing results but many more victories and remember we are the third force in scotland at this time and without a doubt We are making good progress. :notworthy:

agree, wednesdays result was a howler, for some strange reason we all seem to be taking it fairly well.
put mixu in charge and maka in goals and we would be screaming our heads off !

what a difference a few months make.

if we finish third i will be delighted, if we win the scottish cup i will burst (so will a lot of edinburgh as well ! )

just hope we can get a good result at fir park and get going again.will be at work so cant go :dummytit:
