I salted a couple of red cabbages, in preparation of tomorrow's grand pickling event with my bairns. I even sterilised a couple of Kilner jars and looked out some new rubber seals.

Should be ready for consumption by the end of the month :thumbsup:.

Those red cabbages do have a horrible yammish colour :agree:

Positively bitter. I am in the process of making myself a honey sandwich as my wife has not replenished the jar of strawberry jam which I finished at about this time last night. I shouldn't really eat honey pieces as I like jam ones best and they play havoc with my sugar levels.
