Seeing real life spies at work is a bit surreal!!!

I watched the video on the news yesterday where they're kitted out in their tennis gear and following the victim to his room. Crazy ****!

never know what to believe with these sorts of stories.

very surprised that this is being blown up into a diplomatic incident however, rather than smothered. for Gordon Brown to come out and talk about it is simply astonishing imo.

Was,nt as good a story as the Bulgarians or was it the Roumanians who took the guy out in Kirkcaldy with a brolly during the cold war.

Probably due to our perceived involvement if they are using passports from our shores. I know it probably has minimal impact having 'British / Irish passport holders involved in assassination' on the front page of the papers across the world but it's not what you really want given that lots of people only read the headlines.

I've not heard what GB has had to say yet.

At least three of the GB passports were ID-stolen from joint Israel/GB passport holders who reside in Israel and claim they had nothing to do with it. The passport numbers were correct as well as the names.

The full presentation video is here: YouTube - [Full Video-Part1] CCTV footage: The assassination of Mahmoud al Mabhouh in Dubai (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JghQ0ZcRfQs) (about 30 minutes long)

Personally, I was surprised how amateurish it looked with the OTT wigs, baseball caps and tennis outfits.

I thought that the guy going into the bathroom and coming back out in the different outfit was quite intriguing and chilling at the same time.

You think of spies as people in action movies and that it doesn't really happen that often when in fact, it goes on everyday.

I also thought the reports of the British spy in Russia a year or two ago was intriguing. He was transmitting data via a wireless device into a 'rock'. That's how it was reported anyway!

So if these guys had walked past you in that hotel you would have known they were spies. Aye right then!!!

Depends if you're on holiday or on the lookout for assassins. If the latter, then watch for two-man teams with dodgy wigs and/or headgear that conceals the face, large rucksacks/bags and a tendency to mill about while chatting on a mobile phone. If nothing else, this mission was very indiscreet - maybe it was meant to be seen and broadcast widely.

BTW strange coincidence that there is a real Israeli tennis player in Dubai at the moment: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/8522255.stm

You just described every tourist thats a man. For example someones dad who dresses normal here, is likely to dress down on holiday, wearing tennis outfit, dodgy hats that dotn fit right, phone folk on a mobile and mill about.

The folk in the videos just looked like folk, in large hotels and airports i bet a large percentage of the people look shifty, have bad hairdos, wear terrible hats, mill around on a phone, meet other people.
