Any decent pubs recommended before the game? Never been to St J. My first game in 2 and half years.

The pubs around the ground are horrendous. Your best bet is to get a swally in a pub in the Centre of town before the match. There's a good number of them in the city centre.

Il 2nd that!

If your desperate, there's the 208, literally just along the road, or a lil further round from there is the Tulloch Ins.

Recall the pubs near the ground being excellent on my last 3 visits - where did you go may I ask? I concede (like a lot of Hibs fans probably) I have not been to game in Perth for about 9-10 years though.

One can walk from the town centre but it is 25 minutes at least.

Lived in Perth for the last 13-14 years and go to the occasional Saints game so I have a good idea of what they are like. 208 is rough as a badgers arse and The Farmhouse in Letham or the Old Bond in Tulloch are both pretty dodgy too. Best bet is centre of town, possibly Foundry or Sportsters for a drink, taxi rank is outside them both and taxi is only around a fiver to the ground.

Aye it feels like that sometimes.
Cool Sportsters it is then.

I'm not sure Sportsters is open. I was going there for lunch with the wife last week and the gates were locked.

Foundry if you are in town.

Not seen it posted anywhere else so thought I'd stick this up:

Hibernian Supporters will occupy the North Stand at the Stadium entering by turnstiles 8, 9, 10 and 11. Turnstiles open at 6.45pm.

Parking is availble at the Stadium for 'away' supporter's cars and coaches. Cars £3, Coaches Free.

There are roadworks on the M90 in the vicinity of Junctions 6 and 7 (Kinross/Milnathort) resulting in single lane traffic covered by a 30 mph. speed limit.

In addition there are planned roadworks on the Forth Road Bridge between the hours of 7 pm and 6 am on Wednesday night which will result in a contraflow system operating on the Bridge.

For up to date information please go to www.trafficscotland.org and www.forthroadbridge.org

EDIT: My bad admins, didn't see it further down :idiot:

The road works are bad. If you are reading this and it's after 6pm - you should seriously stay at home
