Thoughts?
IMO, the nicest jersey we've had in a long long time. Simple, no-frills, retro-like and the darker green works for me. Not a big fan of the sponsorship, but at least they (eircom) have amended the colours in their logo to 'blend' in better.
Only down-side is that the socks are hoops :grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

Oh, meant to add, there's another down-side.. the goalie's jersey is a wine/maroon/sh*te colour

Very nice indeed :agree:
Let's hope Adidas come up with something just as good for Scotland

I like it. Always prefer simple designs and I love that shade of green. Hopefully Stokes and Miller will be sporting it regularly come the qualifiers for Euro 2012.

The socks are hideous, the top isn't too bad though – actually prefer the shade of green to our own.

Unfortunately, I don't think Umbro sell what you'd like them to :faf:

Very nice - just add some white sleeves and it'd be almost perfect :greengrin

'Bloodied turd' is the phrase you're looking for.

the top is nice, but the trackie top is minted:agree:
The design is great and the stitching looks OK too (how old am I).
I don't get what people have against Umbro. They're going back to basics with style and material choice...which is what people want!
I've not seen a bad Umbro kit for years. They're getting their act together big time.
Nike and especially Adidas could learn a lot when it comes to kit design.

Umbro was never a cool make from the early 80s onwards compared to adidas and Nike (mostly cos of trainers more than anything I think) but they are a lot more attuned to British sensibilities so are really listening to what people want I think. Their England kit is excellent, really nice and simple, as is this Ireland strip, nice deep green which is what Hibs should have too.
