View Full Version : Boxing in Las Vegas
Hi, anyone been to Vegas when the boxing is on? Supposed to be great atmosphere.
Possibly going to be there at start of May which coincides with Shane Mosley vs Floyd Mayweather Jr
Cheapest tickets seem to be around $900 dollars a pair so not cheap.
Anyone been? Is it worth it? Is it worth just going to a bar instead?
thanks

Unless you get close to the action you see more on tv but the atmosphere in a big indoor arena is usually great.

Joe,
I was in Vegas for the Hatton V Mani (or what ever his name was).
My mate had a ticket for the boxing think he paid about £200 if i remember right.
Is it at the MGM Grand if so they sell the rights to other casino's and its about $50 just to watch the fight on tv's in there.
I wasn't bothered about watching it and was going to put my 50 on red or black but my other mate wasn't happy so we ended up in a posh casino watching it.
