Funny from where I was in the East the lower ff looked empty at the corners, yet most of the other stands looked fairly full.

Not bad considering it was never likely to be much of a competative match today.

Stadium only over 50% full. It didn't look like that from the upper FF.

If I was a Yam I would have guessed nearer 19,500.

twice as much as the saints v huns

15/20 years back, a Hibs v Montrose game would have had attracted a crowd of 6-7,000, whilst a St Mirren v Rangers game would have been 15,000+.

Live lunchtime games won't help, but the OF travelling supports certainly ain't what they used to be.

Heard some folk around me in the West Upper saying they'd come to that stand just for a wee change. Suspect a few did that :agree:

Even Raith v Aberdeen attracted a couple of thousand more than St Mirren v Rangers. :greengrin

Our crowd is good , I think we actually gain from all this 1902 stuff ( hardly mentioned till this century ) since while cup crowds fall elsewhere ( Scotland and England ) we seem to get good crowds .

Lots of spaces near me in FF upper also ST holders missing in seats around me being taken up by rare visitors with grand kids etc. Dont understand this from ST holders unless they tried different seats for cup which according to the god that is YOGI is our Holy Grail , so where was everyone surely the cup is what we wish for and what happened to the famous singing from the East ? Not many chances left methinks. :notworthy:
