Terry must be more worthy of the job than Ferdinand but remember they're footballers and as prone to being ***** just as much, if not more, than the next man. I disagree. To be captain of your club or country you need to have the respect of the players you play with. If the rest of the squad look at him and think he would do it to any one of them and obviously doesn't care about losing their trust.

If the part in bold was correct then I hardly think that Capello would have demoted John Terry. Personally I think he should have either kicked JT out the England team or leave him as captain. All Capello has done is take his armband away but the guy will still play a huge part in England's quest to win the World Cup.

I think there's probably been other factors putting pressure on his, such as FA sponsors etc.

The fact that he's demoted him will become irrelevant IMO. As you point out he will still be a major influence in the team and how they play so it really makes no difference, again IMO.
