We were practically going for a famous five formation when Aberdeen went down to 9 men, and we left it far, far too late to win against a team with 2 less players than my nerves would liked to have dealt with.

It was amazing to watch us still not control the game too much because there was nobody out wide and in midfield as countless strikers tripped over eachothers heels and got in the way.

It's interesting looking at that, but more relevant to compare these players to the Tornadoes.
Goalkeeper (at least as good as Jim Heriott).
Full backs - none as good as Brownlie and Schaedler.
Centre backs - Bamba better than Black, but nobody as good as Blackley.
Midfield/Forwards - Nobody in the class of Stanton or Edwards and no left winger (so Duncan wins there). O'Rourke, Gordon and Cropley against Miller, Stokes and Gow/Zemmama/Riordan might be a pretty close call, but basically these players are not as good as the Tornadoes.
