Does anyone know what the dates for the the Europa League 3rd round qualifiers and the play off round will be? Im having to put in my annual holidays in by the end of the week so need to know a rough idea. Cheers in advance.

CL qualifiers would be a bonus! Checked uefa website but couldn't find dates.

It would be great to get into the final of the Europa League at the new Lansdowne Road in Dublin.

It's just a pity that the great achievement will inevitably be upstaged by Hearts' CL victory at Wembley.

Cup Winners - Play Off round 19th & 26th August
3rd Place - 3rd Qualifying round 29th July & 5th August
4th Place - 2nd Qualifying round 15th & 22nd July

1st and 2nd both go into 3rd Qualifying round of CL and will need to get past 2 rounds to get into the CL. Dates 27/28 July & 3/4 August

I think you do now, if two top 4 sides are in the Scottish Cup Final.

The UEFA Europa League format is projected for the 3 years cycle of 2009-2012 seasons.

Usually, the higher the national football association is ranked in the UEFA, the later in the competition will their clubs enter. Every participating team, exception to the title holder, will have to play at least one qualification round.
Aditionally, 15 losing teams from the UEFA Champions League qualification round number 2 will enter in the 4th and last UEFA Europa League qualification round.
The 10 losers of the UEFA Champions League qualification round 3 will enter directly on the UEFAEuropa League groups stage. The 12 winners and 12 runners-up in the group stage will advance to the first knock out round, together with the 8 3rd placed clubs of the UEFA Champions league group stage.

Similar to what happened in with the UEFA Cup Winners Cup being folded into the UEFA CHampions League, the Intertoto Cup will be included into the UEFA Europa League.

National cup winners clubs who have qualified for any European competition based on league placing will not hand their UEFA Europa League place to the losing national cup finalist. Their place in the competition will instead devolve onto the highest-placed team in the league not yet in European competition.
