Am i right in saying that Celtic signed ROY and in his first game got beat fi Clyde and they then sign ROBBIE and in his first game get turned over fi Killie.
When will they learn.

First game and all that thought Keane was brutal. Scott Brown at left back. :dizzy:

I just don't get the hype about Keane at all. IMO, Henrik Larson was a better all round player than Keane will ever be.

Nor do I. Complete over reaction by the Scottish sports media. OK, he's a decent player but he's hardly a world star (they're going to Hearts apparently )

Now wait a minute,

I was told this guy was going to rip Scotland a part? Tear everyone a new one? Run riot? Score a bucket load?

I'm confused:confused:

Robbie's contract was until the end of the season.

He's on his way back to Spurs tonight. :bye:

No question about that.

But a fit Robbie Keane would still score aplenty in the SPL. My Spurs mate reckons he's gone well off the pace though.

Spot on!
This guy is 29 years old - a time when he should be at the peak of his career and he gets sent out "on loan"

Note too there have been a few comments on his like of the "sauce" - suppose there has to be an excuse available :greengrin

You're right, he is only 29, but he's been around a long time, first team football from age of 16 I think.

At least, he says he's 29 - could there be a little tale to tell, a la Larry Kingston?

£70 million in transfer fees. Bet he's had a good wedge.

Crazy money in a crazy world.

You forgot he'd be up against Cammy Bell in goals and Pasca and Ford as centre backs...think Manuel is letting him out his pocket later today.

65k a week for one, £100k transfer fee for the other  JJ managed summat right in his time here then!
