Why do the BBC and media insist on calling them 'Sporting Lisbon'... The club is called Sporting CP, I've never heard anyone call them Sporting Lisbon except the news.

 I know their real name is Sporting CP but I always call them Sporting Lisbon and anyone I've ever heard mentioning them has always said that as well.

Good stuff.

Huns shedding players, Celtc lose Fox and McManus today with Skippy likely to follow and replacing them with dross.

I like when the OF are being weakened while we're strengthening :greengrin

For the same reason everyone calls FC Bayern "Bayern Munich".

EUFA used to insist that the clubs in European competition were identified by their City/Town name.

When St Johnstone played in Europe they were called Perth St Johnstone by UEFA.

Just seen footage on SSN of him leaving from the airport. Mind you, if the caption had said that he was leaving to attend a Paul Hartley, looky-likey competition, I would have believed that too.
