In second half, Egypt have just scored. Then a second Algerian sent off after a shocking leg-breaker type tackle.

Last time I saw a ref that bad......every time we play der hun.

To be fair, even the Scottish refs are slightly more competent. Even missed an attempted head-butt on himself.

Suppose it takes a strong character to referee one of these games, and the boy just wasn't up to it.

Shouldn't have sent the initial Algerian player off (his first booking was a joke).

Shouldn't have allowed the penalty (goal) to stand, as you can't stop in your run-up. This wouldn't have lead to the Algerian Keeper trying to butt the ref and being booked for his protests. It perhaps would have saved him from being sent off later for his wild-swipe, which was clearly a case of "lost the plot".

The boy who was sent off for his Jackie Chan impersonation can have no complaints - disgraceful tackle :bitchy:
