Clinical finish

Absolutely outstanding.

Boruc must hate us :faf:

Another embarrassment for him at the first goal, and we make him pick the baw out his net on 91 minutes.

Get it wrapped right roond ye's Celtic:bye:

I thought it was a very strange decision to bring him on as he had ignored him for a couple weeks when we felt it was his time to come on.

Yogi knows best indeed.

When the subs were made, I wondered what the hell Yogi was thinking; I thought fair enough, Galbraith is a decent out ball but why take Nish and Riordan off to bring Stevenson on?

Shows how much I know. 10 out of 10, Yogi.

If it was up to me, id be giving the lad a START over Riordan atmo, to see what he could do.

Still think Riordan needs a kick up the hoot.

All in all, what a result! Bring on the next game

great return on Galbraith tonight, saw him first at the Dunny friendly & thought he had something. He has had to be patient, let's hope he gets a run somewhere. If nowt else, it lets Deeks know there might be an alternative.

Hope he gets more playing time now. He has had almost none.

I feel its always worth bringing on a guy with a bit of pace late on. He can chase and take advantage of tired legs.

Celts must be spewing. My only regret is we made the current buns happy.

How the hellllllllllllllllllllll can some weegie's claim Galbraith was offside? It was clear as day that he was onside.

That was a complete and utter shameful dive from their player, and the fact that one or two of them try to say "well, erm, there was an arm up" is farcical.

I believe that if he keeps fit, we'll have a great player on our hands here. He's just a boy now so let's not expect too much too soon.

I'm sure Yogi will continue to give him games from off the bench - so we have great impact player on our hands in the short term.

Didn't read the whole thread but that page makes Celtc fans seem quite grown-up, compared with the throat/wrist slitting we get on here whenever we lose to a wee team. Lot of them scoffing at the Celtc player's dive, backing Mogga despite the poor record so far, etc etc. A bit refreshing.

Galbraith should be getting a decent run out - i.e. 20-30 minutes in a lot more games than he currently does IMO. We've been lacking directness, pace and someone simply with a winger's instinct for some time now, and this guy looks like he could be the mutt's nuts.

Give him more pitch time - not excessive amounts to start off with - and I can see him being a vital player in our season.

Now that the euphoria has died down let's just look back at the video of DG's goal.
Here is an 18 year old with limited 1st team experience going " one on one" with the goalkeeper in "estra time" in front of 40000+ supporters .
Watch and re watch it and you will IMO see a young man with supreme confidence and a great future in the game .
He took his goal like a seasoned pro - "pure dead btilliant".

Hope he can build on this moment of glory and go on to be a regular member of the side .
Now depends in how much HE want's that !!!!!:greengrin
