I know its kinda getting away from the point of the original post - but from that link i had a look at Hibs strips of the past. How good were the strips in the late 80's/early 90's? The adidas ones were ace. Chelsea/Liverpool design but in green would be quality.

There's more threads been created today on this messageboard than you're likely to find in any of that tack. :greengrin

Whilst Adidas would undoubtedly be quality i really, really dislike some of those strips because the white goes right up the shoulder. Hibs strips should have white SLEEVES not white sleeves and shoulders. Also the green on those strips was a strange shade, much lighter than what it is now(Which is still too light compared to the uber cool 70s strips IMHO).

I've just typed in "Hearts Football Top Scotland" expecting to find it but it returned something about 1986 and some guy called Albert Kidd who apparently spoilt it. Any ideas what that's about?

After reading the atmosphere thread and the idea of a green day, why don't we really jazz it up with 12000 hibs fans at ER wearing this each week....

That's lush.

Don't know about standing out - more like thrown out. :greengrin

"I WATCHED the Motherwell against St Mirren game on television and I thought the pitch at Fir Park looked shocking.

That could act as a huge leveller for our semi-final against the Buddies through there next week. I was never convinced Fir Park was the right venue for the semi-final anyway and, after seeing the pitch, I'm certainly not now.

The only consolation is that it will be the same for both sides"

In the spirit of yam bashing the above was lifted from Gary Mackay's weekly output in the EEN.

That's right Gary, the state of the pitch may affect your normal, silky, free flowing football.:faf::faf::faf:

Some of those dreadful efforts are enough to give you the dry boak.

If possible I think I hate the colour maroon more than I did half an hour ago.
