Who knows, but that will be worth an extra point to us, should we need it come the end of the season.

I would hazard a guess at season 2000/2001.

Final goal differences for each of our SPL seasons:

2008/09 : -4
2007/08 : +4
2006/07 : +10
2005/06 : +5
2004/05 : +6
2003/04 : -19
2002/03 : -8
2001/02 : -5
2000/01 : +22
1999/00 : -12

We've got a wee bit to go yet to equal 2000/01.

Actually the fact that we went 10 years and ended up with an overall goal difference of -1 sums Hibs up in a nice neat stat. The ultimate peak and trough team. Quite sad really. :confused:

aye, also a sad indightment on Scottish football though - take away the OF and i suspect we'd be in the + for every one of those seasons.

Could prove to be the difference between finishing 3rd and 4th. A 1 goal difference sent us into Europe under Mowbray.

Hopefully Deeko and Stokes keep scoring the goals:thumbsup:
