Bench at best. Smith has done nothing to harm his claim for a starting berth.

Would have on the bench this Sat. Smith was brilliant against Dundee United. Stack now needs to be patient to win back his place.

I'm wondering how long Stack has been carrying his injury/ Maybe from before he signed his contract?

Would be delighted to see 'Stack Back and Crack' make a return to the starting line up!
May seem a little bit harsh on Smith but then at least we have an able deputy on the bench!

Marshall leaves and within a couple of seasons our goalkeeping situation all of a sudden starts to look a lot better - Coincidence?

:faf::faf: Yes Maka is the new Gordon Banks. :faf::faf::faf: And he's been gone 6 months, not 2 seasons.

Yes, conincidence.

If Marshall had been here Yogi would've still signed Stack. Hibs had previously been in for Smith and Brown when Marshall was at the club as well.

Maybe the new coach has just been lucky?

"looking a lot better" is a long way away from saying Maka has developed into one of the greatest ever goalkeepers!

Saying Yogi got lucky is doing him a dis-service, on the good work he's done to bring in 2 goalies who are alot better than what we had at the club previously.

Perhaps one of the reasons our keepers look better? Why do you think our new goalkeeping coach has not improved Maka?

Im not necessarily saying it was what Marshall did with Maka thats made him poor, its the fact that he brought him (or recommended) him to the club in the first place!

Now we have the new goalie coach in place we are scouting and bringing a much higher standard of goalie to E.R.

:agree:

Not even seasons but months. Makes you wonder where we could of ended up had he been punted earlier?

2 decent keepers and Maka on his way out hopefully. Great work

How is your 'bring back Marshall' campaign going Danderhall?

Is the new coach buying the goalies? If Marshall had been allowed to work with Stack, Smith and possibly Brown I'm sure he'd have appeared as competent as the new guy.

Still in start-up mode. Currently doing some myth bashing before presenting the business case.
