Can't believe it's not at either of the stadiums. Really poor show from Hibs:grr:

Disappointed to hear that it's not being played at Easter Road this year after Tynecastle hosting it the past two. Was a huge draw to most of the players to play at a professional ground.

Having played in the last three (and won them all :greengrin) it's a great experience, I'd fully recommend it to anyone. Nothing like beating the jambos! :agree:

Hibs have been hard to deal with from day one of this event. Not sure why when John Boag has been so accommodating at the PBS.

The last time we played at ER (and won ) we were chased off the pitch after it.

The new website is now upto date with all the into and application form.

It is a shame that its not at Easter Road this season, after a few meetings with Hibs is was clear that it was not possible.

Not just saying this as I am a Hearts fan but Hearts really do bend over backwards to help us each year (as Rainman also says in his previous post)

Hopefully in years to come Hibs can come back on board.

Why was it not possible?

A couple of reasons sadly, which I don't want to go over on a public board. Safe to say that a massive shame that Hibs won't allow us to use Easter Road.

No secrets mate, my meeting with Hibs went well but due to 'Health and Safety' reasons they are unable to host ANY games at Easter Road apart from first team games.

To do this, it would cost them well into a 4 figure sum to get all the required staff in.
