I had exactly the same operation done about 0-7 years ago in the same place and I can tell you, the care I received in there was absolutely brilliant, tope class :top marks.

I'm sure Murdo will be absolutely fine, he will just need a couple of months taking things easy, all the best Murdo.

Just to let you know, Murdo is stable at the moment but still sedated and on a ventilator. The doctors will try to get him breathing on his own when he has regained some strength.

His family have set up a page (http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?ref=mb#/pages/Murdo-Macleod/256395193389?ref=ts) for him on Facebook and all the messages left on it are being read out to him.

I hope Murdo makes a complete recovery - he really seems such a genuine bloke.
