Some months ago I signed up for the London Marathon... it sounded like such a good idea all those months ago, now I only have 100 days left! The club have suggested they may be willing to promote my efforts over the coming weeks, but in the meantime I wonder if I could plug a good cause on here!?

I am running for an Edinburgh-based charity - Fertility Scotland

Fertility Scotland supports the Edinburgh Assisted Conception Programme which has been providing high quality Assisted Conception Treatment since 1991. They bring together a unique combination of medical, scientific and embryological staff from the NHS and outstanding local academic communities. Despite spectacular advances in IVF technology over the past 30 years, the reason why so many couples fail to conceive after assisted conception treatment is still not fully understood.

PLEASE - have a look at my virgin giving site (similar to justgiving but fairer) and donate anything you can afford.... every fiver helps!

Many thanks for your time.

Donated. We have a son born in 2006 using IVF so this cause is close to our hearts. We just had another wee boy on Saturday and his big brother got to choose his name, so its Riordan Davidson. He wont be able to get into a nightclub till 2028 so its kind of apt:greengrin
All the best for the marathon

Well I run the marathon on Sunday - nerves starting to set in - thanks to 'the Hibernian family' for all the support so far - never too late to digg deep for a great cause though!
