Dates back to a payment made trough a Monte Carlo bank account when he was Portsmouth chairman.

The fact that the CPS statement describes him as the former chairman of Portsmouth suggests the charges relate to his activities in that position - otherwise they would have described him as the chairman of Leicester, if they were to describe him at all.

This follows the prosecution of Peter Storrie, news of the intended prosecution of Harry Redknapp and the serving of a winding up order on the club. Harry's charges involved payments through the bank account of an agent who has been "cleared of any wrongdoing". McKay i think his name is.
