I see the papers are mixed in crediting the first goal yesterday, to Riordan or as an OG.
It looks a Riordan goal everytime for me? Anyone know if this is officially an OG or not?

SFA website credits the goal to DR. I suppose that's about as official as it gets.
For now.

To get into a nightclub before 2011.

The highlights clearly show it was Riordan's goal.

Serious?
I can't for the life of me see how it's an OG, as Riordan clearly taps it in?

I was at the top of the West at the 18 yard line.
At the FF end. :greengrin

Deek definitely scored it. I saw it live and then on Sportscene. There was no debate about it and why would there be?
The Meadow boy admitted it came off him last
Deeks as usual is claiming it :greengrin

It was Deeks goal. No doubt about it.

One of the in depth reports I read in the News of the World or Sunday Mail yesterday claimed it was an OG and came off the Meadow defenders head, what game were these dafties at? :grr::blah:

If he could add more of those types of goals to his game, nobody would be complaining about his performances.

I thought that too and was suprised when the announcer "gave" it to Deek! :cool2:

Same here. I don’t think the TV cleared it up either.
Sunday Times gave it as an OG so I assumed the Press Association had said OG but that would mean the bookies don’t pay out – but Mike says they did!
It came off the defenders napper - all the press guys say the same (Scotsman, Mail) and the lad himself also owned up
Sorry Deeks - still a 2 month dry spell

He must have some napper as the ball was about 6 inches off the ground.

????
I take it you weren't at the game and you haven't seen the highlights? Wotherspoon's cross was about knee-height by the time it reached the goalmouth so anyone trying to head the ball would have had to dive full length!
It was a Deek tap-in no question. The Scotsman certainly doesn't say it came off anyone's head and credits the goal to Deek too:

Exactly, I fell about when I read that. Looked 100% Deek's goal to me.

I was in the West behind the away dugout, and at at the time it clearly looked liked a great diving header from the defender! The guy next to me thought the same....not seen the highlights yet.

My thoughts as well.
I notice that Deeks has been officially confirmed as the scorer by the SFA (scroll down to the end of the link):
