On the back of the two other thread about who was released too early, and who did we sign too late. What about those players our managers gave an extention to, who should have been released, and never given another contract.

Zibi, thread ended surely.

Don't change the subject. You treated her badly. Care? You never cared! But I could see that she'd never get you and the Blackpool high life out off her system. Go, I told her. Just go to him!

So she's on her way back, weather permitting, on the National Express coach with a bottle of Buckfast. And I have to rebuild my shattered life in Merchiston.

I hope you're pleased with yourself and that you two are happy together. Just tell her, if it doesn't work out, she knows where I'll be, drowning my sorrows in the Royal Scot club.

Very droll.

Zibi is the ridiculously obvious answer, but I was puzzled at the time by the decision to give Gary Smith another year in 2005. He ended up spending half of 2005/06 on the sickbed and wasn't particularly effective when he was available. That necessitated the (panic) signings of Rudge and Konde. Mowbray would have been much better off signing a proper centre half that summer (would he have brought in Jones a year earlier?).

Alan O'Brien and especially Brian Kerr. Kerr was consistently awful but got a place because he was a favourite of Tommy Craig. To be honest, when Maka goes, that will be the last of JC,s fuds out the door and that should have happened a long time ago.

Benji.

Good player on his day, unfortunately his day seems to be about 2 or 3 times a season.

The bin men who collect from Easter Road.

They're rubbish.
