"hanging about" - usually done in shop doorways around Easter Road after the match whilst Rangers fans are attacking the locals and singing illegal songs. Typically done in pairs, at double time and eating fish / white pudding supper.

A comical scene greeted me as I arrived at the stadium this morning where Tam the kitman was driving the world's smallest tractor with some kind of brush attached to it. The pavements around the ground have all been heavily gritted.
