Hard to see Houston getting the Tannadice job after last night's mauling. Amazing how quickly their form has declined since it became clear Levein was leaving. Good news for us though as provided we keep picking up points against everyone bar the Old Firm we're looking good for third place.

That's 10 goals in two games they've conceded to the Huns. Makes the media hype that United and ourselves were genuine title contenders all the more laughable.

We were both doing fine until Levein left and Maka came back in goals. It certainly makes Levein look even better though. As for Hibs, this was a result waiting to happen - our squad isn't strong enough and our run was bound to end soon. A couple of good signings will keep us in 3rd, but the only way we were ever going to finish in the top two was if Rangers were forced to sell Boyd, McGregor, Davis and co in January. Doesn't look likely now.

I think Houston's made it clear he doesn't want the top job there in any event.

Funnily enough he never made that declaration until after they had been humped 7-1 by the huns ???
