That would be an unbelievable deal for Celtic. Can see why Spurs might go for it too (even though it's foolish) - only reliable GK is Cudicini who is getting on, and an abundance of strikers.

Boruc can be decent but he has been having blunder after blunder in the SPL.
If I was Celtic I'd be wearing a striped jumper and mask for that deal.

Cudicini's career is almost definitely over after his accident a few months ago I'd guess

Boruc is dire.
I'd think Keane's wages would limit the amount of other transfer activity that Celtc could do, as well.

Gomez is playing well now, Spurs dont need a new goalie, especially not one like Artur:faf:

Cudicini broke every bone in his body in a bike accident a couple of months ago. They want back-up for Gomes who's a good goalie. He's been earning rave reviews since he settled down.

The only stumbling block in this deal would be Keane's wages.. He will only sign if he was too take a massive pay cut...

Boruc gave us three great seasons, but I'd love thsi to happen.
Don't see it myself. In fact it'll never happen. Having said that, thsi rumour started down south among the English media, not the lazy Glasgow variety, so you never know.
As with his namesake, ROy, it would be Dermot Desmond paying his wages direct.

There's more chance of McGeady or Brown going to Celtic and Keane coming the other way than Boruc going. He isn't going to move unless he was Number 1...

If SPurs pay him, he'll go. Besides, he is being basically followed everywhere by tabloid journos, who have also harrassed his girlfriend.

Not sure that only applies to Keane though. I think that all players need to read that out from an official club hand-out at the press conference just after they sign.

After a shaky start to his time at White Hart Lane, the £7.8 million signing from PSV Eindhoven is in the form of his life. Pat Jennings even hailed Gomes’s save from Portsmouth’s Younes Kaboul as on a par with Gordon Banks’s scooping stop from Pele in 1970.

How long ago that seems now. Fast forward to Christmas 2009 and Gomes is back to his formidable best: his self-belief has been pieced back together by Redknapp, who once publicly admitted he was considering selling the 28-year-old due to his erratic form, and his goalkeeping coach Tony Parks.

Gomes made a number of fine saves as Spurs cruised to a 2-0 against Blackburn at Ewood Park on Saturday.
It was Tottenham's second clean sheet in four days, following the 3-0 defeat of Manchester City at White Hart Lane, and consolidates Spurs claim to be real top four contenders.

Gomes has started this season in outstanding form. The highest possible accolade for a goalkeeper is to leave a game with people feeling as though the keeper’s performance has won them the points and it is something Gomes has experienced a few times already this season.

He is well past his sell by date at Darkheid. Some of my lesser green aquaintences are less than chuffed that Zaluska is not getting more of the same. Boruc Flaps is getting to sound like an akward feminine disorder.
