Apparently hibs have been looking at Man United defender and not the singer David Gray who is currently on loan to Plymouth Argyle, he is defender who is born and bred in Edinburgh and is 21 years old. source - horses mouth

Similar to Galbraith in that he was one of the Scottish laddies who was formally with the Yams but signed for Man Yoo as soon as he was allowed to.

A right back who is as hard as nails, would be a great signing for us and would allow Wotherspoon to play in midfield which would also be a bonus.

Could be a great bit of business. I'd rather see us getting some young scottish talent who if they make it, we get some cash for.

PS Stevie, sorry about confusing you with jock. Too much drink over too many years.

He's another Yam is he not. As long as he commits himself to the Hibs cause, I'm not bothered.

So he used to be on the other side?

Please forgive me if I'm not excited about this one. His signing wouldn't make up for the loss of this year's love, Sol Bamba.

He can sail away as far as I am concerned.

Of course, if he does sign I would give him a chance to shine.

I don’t know what he is but I understood Hahahearts and Man Utd. used to have an agreement where Man Utd. find a player who is too young to go down south to join up with them the player is sent to Tynie until he is old enough.

David would be a great signing. Was exceptional at juvenile level.

Guess he might be looking at the on field time Galbraith has had before deciding though and yes I know Danny is only 19 and we have playing well or rather getting results without him

Why has he not broken through at Man U. Has he been injured? He'll be used to Hospital Food then.
Sounds like a good move. Hope its not dead in the water

Having played with David before he went down south to Utd he was without doubt one of the top young players in the country at our age group (he actually played a year above himself as well).

Was a right winger, fastest boy I have ever seen but moved back a position when at Man U. Not seen much of him playing in years so can't comment if he would make a good signing or not, but I doubt Fergie would have kept him as long as he has if he wasn't up to much!

P.s. definetely a yam

CropleyWasGod 'So he's crap?'

Getting confused with the singer.
Let's sign him just to annoy the Yams.

I would take him. Seen him play before in the reserves for man utd. He can attack really well and is very good at defending.

Think he meant that Riordan is the reason that Galbraith has had so little game time at this stage in the season.

However, no such competition exists in the RB berth.
