Bougherra is allowed to stay for the match, then surely should Bamba.

Why? They play for different countries. It's up the respective coaches.

I'd like to think that he would be able to play against Rangers. The Ivory Coast's first match is about 2 weeks after the Rangers game so I don't see the problem if he joins up with the rest of the squad a day or two late. He'll still have about eleven or twelve days to prepare for their first match.

Drogba has been given permission to play for Chelsea then join up with the squad so it would be very unfair if its rules for some and rules for others.
