Rooney hammers in a shot and it hits off the crossbar and away to safety. :grr:

Good game so far, Villa are playing well and have had quite a few decent chances.

Nae doubt Manure will get there customary penalty soon enough, or 6 minutes off added time at the end if still losing or drawin.

Manure lose

Surprised you Looserpool fans are entirely pleased, as you have zip chance of catching United (even your own players admit this) and Aston Villa are now 5 points clear. The Tottenham score was probably more in your favour.

:agree: Man Utd's results are about as relevant to Liverpool as Hibs results are to Hearts.

Their fans should concern themselves more with the results of the likes of Birmingham, Fulham and Stoke, who are all right behind them in the battle for a place in next season's Europa League.

Let the big boys worry about the title and Champions League etc. :greengrin
