I have to admit to admiring a few of their players in particular Taull, Hay and Kyle but how many more of them are useful and could cause us problems?

Dont think Killie are anything special, grafters that try and stop you playing. I think Hibs will win, but it wont be anything like Saturday. I think Kyle will cause us a lot of problems if he plays.

Kille or West coast Hibs are so inconsistent is isn't true. Rugby Park usually is a banana skin for us and with Jumbo and Brown - seem to raise their game against Hibs and Hearts. While form says we'll win and I agree with the poster above that they'll try and stop us first. Be delighted with a win but won't be surprosed if they take something.

any team in Scotland is capable of causing us problems but if we were to turn in a performance like Saturday there are few that would beat us.

I always think that if we are at our best we have an excellent chance of winning the game, sounds obvious I know but the team that played at home in the CIS cup to St Johnstone or that travelled to Hamilton could turn up and you know what happened in those games.

We don't have a great record at Killie but we are in decent form and we have more reasons to be optimistic than not.

I think one of the reasons we seem to be able to beat Motherwell easily is that they try and play football against us, wheras other teams try and stop us from playing football. We are a far better footballing side than Motherwell hence the good performance and result. Kilmarnock will try and stop us play and I would expect a game similar to Falkirk at home.

I am answering my own question here but having reminded myself of their squad I think we will have to also watch Burchell (who I think is finding his best form again) and Fernandez (if he is fit). I think this could be a trickier fixture than when they came to ER.

I think that their League position tells you how good they are. On about the same level with Hertz! However who knows what Hibs side will turn up. It is about us, not about them.

Kilmarnock played well at home against both Hearts and Dundee United recently, and were unlucky not to win either.

Will be a hard game in a ground we always struggle at.

That is a truly appalling record. I knew we hadn't been great at Rugby Park in recent years, but that is shocking.

They looked like a typical killie team against the saintees on saturday.solid with kyle upfront and who look fairly solid at the back.I can see us with lots of crosses and shots from the edge of the box and with the way the front three are playing we should be in with a good chance of getting a result.

Ask the same question to a Killie fan and i'm sure they would be more worried about the likes of Stokes, Riordan, Nish, Zemamma, Miller, Bamba, Murray, Wotherson......I could go on.

It should be noted that one positive to take out of this run of results (if there is such a thing when it comes to 5 wins in 21 matches) is that in that shocking run, we have only failed to score in five of those matches, so if we can score a couple on Saturday, which shouldn't be beyond us when you consider the players that we have available to us, we should be capable of keeping Kilmarnock out at the other end since we have got a fantastic defensive record so far.

From what i've seen this season a fit Kyle will be the difference between mid table and a relegation battle, which some of them would struggle with.

Just we can beat every team in this league, we only need to take our eye off the ball for half a second and we could lose to them all as well. Just don't go in to the game with any complacency, stick to playing football and don't rise to the bait and we'll be fine :agree:

we've scored 16 goals there and they've scored 26 in the last 14. These statistics look scary don't they.

However, we've never played there with this team, morale and manager, so these statistics are largely irelevent.
