don't usually listen to real radio phone in, but it was a choice between that or chic young on way home tonight, one caller was discussing hibs game today and alan rough mentioned about hibs signing 2 players in january transfer window from english championship, not sure if he had info or was just speculating

Roughy doesn't normally say anything unless he's sure. I remember he that JC and Tommy Craig would be the manager a couple of days after Mowbray left.

Here's hoping - did he give anything else away? Club or position?

Nothing specific, it was more of a general chat after someone had called in bumming up our chances in the league this year.

Roughie suggested that Yogi had been told by the Hibs board he'd be allowed to bring in two new faces in the January window - when I heard it, I assumed that Yogi had mentioned it in his post-match interviews today.

I don't think Sproule would get in the team. I'd play Zemamma, Wotherspoon and Riordan out there ahead of him.

I'm hoping one of them's a centre-half - a big massive stopper that takes no crap.

When I listen to my head instead of my heart, you're probably right there.

I would just love to see Ivan back at the club, I really love the guy.

I would like to see a RB brought in as I think Wotherspoon will be far more influential in midfield.

I hope it's not Shiels. I'd take Sproule back as a squad player but his wages may be a bit high for a squad player.

Sproule and McNaughton

You know something? Or you hope its these two? McNaughton was a steady full back at Aberdeen I'd be happy to see him sign. I don't think Ivan would improve what we already have to be honest!

If we have any ambition of splitting the old firm, or even winning this league. We should plunder the Australian league, and pay whatever they want for Bob Malcolm.

He would not get a look in with Zouma and David playin so well on that right hand side.

Still would love to see him back

Ivan seems to spend most of the time on the bench at Bristol and if he returned to ER I don't think things would be any different. Would still give us great options to have him in the squad and maybe Yogi could make him a more complete player. I would still worry about his occasional lapses in discipline though.

They have a big centre half who we have been linked with in the past... Danny Livesey. Maybe it's Scott Dobie having seen how well Kevin Kyle has performed back in the SPL!

I'd be concerned with that,if true, as he's hardly played any football, and IMO would struggle to get up to speed. His ability to play weekly may also be a problem.

Were the stories linking Darren O'Dea with Hibs in the summer just speculation? His loan spell at Reading ends in January and they're unlikely to extend it as he's not getting a game now.

I'd take him on a permanent deal, not on loan though.
