He certainly deserves more sub appearances than he's had. I maybe wouldn't throw him in from the start but bringing him on and giving him a half an hour or so here or there wouldnae hurt him.

We have loads of options up front and as long as Deek, Nish and Benji are fit, Byrne probably shouldn't be the man to imedietly replace an out of form Stokes. If he does well and scores a few off the bench then by all means, change that.

I keep thinking that Stokes will come good and therefor to persist in the hope that he will produce one of his Ibrox moments, but I said that about AOB and how wrong was I about that one.

I certainly feel that Byrne must be worth a shot as he must be getting frustrated at his lack of action but then again, can you change a team that's gone 9 unbeaten?

I suspect Hughes would like us to score a few goals and have a game wrapped up by half time so that he can give players like Byrne a run.

should give him a chance as he done very well in the reserves last year and scores some good goals it can only be a good thing yogi will use him well when needed

From what little I have seen of Byrne he certainly looks like a decent player. Byrne or Stokes? What a great dilemma to have.:thumbsup:
