Hibees Reunited

Hibees Reunited will be official match sponsor for the game against Falkirk tomorrow. You can read more about it in this week's club newsletter. If you missed it.............

Kind-hearted Hibernian supporters from Hibs.net have donated eight half season tickets to the Club's 'Kicks for Kids' community ticket scheme.

A Hibs.net spokesperson said: "Thanks to the generosity of our members Hibs.net are delighted to be able to take part in the Kicks for Kids initiative. This worthwhile scheme should make all Hibs supporters proud to be a part of the Hibernian family.''

The good news continued today as it was revealed that Hibees Reunited - a supporter led initiative between Hibs.net, The Supporters Association and Hibees Bounce - has been awarded 'Match Sponsor' status for Hibernian's home fixture versus Falkirk this Saturday. The initiative is aimed at encouraging fans who attend Easter Road regularly to bring along lapsed Hibernian supporters.

A Hibees Reunited spokesman said: "We are delighted that our efforts have been recognised by being awarded Match Sponsor status. It will certainly help to raise the profile of our campaign and help to further stimulate interest. We are hearing from many fans who will be returning to Easter Road after a spell of doing other things on match days."

Hibees Reunited want to see if Hibernian can fill the ground each week and really get behind John Hughes' exciting new side. More information about this initiative can be found on www.hibs.net (http://www.hibsmail.co.uk/newsletter/link.php?M=18144&N=102&L=218&F=H), www.hibeesbounce.com (http://www.hibsmail.co.uk/newsletter/link.php?M=18144&N=102&L=219&F=H) and at the Hibernian Supporters Club on Sunnyside.

So watch out for the dodgiest Man Of The Match decision for some time :greengrin

There's still time to get a hold of a lapsed hibee and get them back. Let's see as many Hibs fans in the ground as possible and if they enjoy their day out they'll hopefully come back next week too!

:agree:

An extra thousand people on the gate at an average spend of say £20 (including ticket, merchandising, programmes etc.) for the rest of the season would put another £250k into the coffers.

That's money for the wages of another couple of good quality players for Yogi

Yet another reason why you should get yerself and everyone you know along tomorrow :cool2:

I see currently even 28 guests are viewing the thread so hopefully another sign we are getting the message out and hopefully this will translate into an increase on the gate.

HEY - dare I say it but what about the weather today? Brassic however another fine day with sunshine on Leith.

Hopefully a repeat for tomorrow.

Have the Club confirmed that the extra funds will be put aside to spend on the squad. And how will they decide what the extra amount is?

No, and why would they? This is a fans lead iniative, the club were never asked to promise anything. However it does stand to reason that the more money coming through the gate the more there will be to spend on the playing budget.
So..............how many are you bringing along?:greengrin
