Whats the possibilty the game being cancelled on saturday as the weather is horrendous today and is set to return on saturday. If the forecast is to be believed we will be playing in heavy rain and gales and i would think neither miller or zemmamma would play.

Eat who?

I presume you mean weather?

I would assume that St mirren would have installed some sort of drainage system when building their spanking new stadium! It is a possibility that the game can be called off.

I am awaiting news as to whether our games are being called off this weekend (announcements on Friday)

I recall a match during the Miller Era (sorry folks!) where there was as foul weather I've seen horizontal rain pouring over 1/2 way up the East giving many a drenching. I was sure it was going to be called off - but it wasn't.

Cant even remember the score I was so cold and wet - I dont think the football on show warmed the cockles of many a heart but for some illogical reason I'm thinking 3-1 Hibs . As I recall it was the era of Victor (no neck) the former Spanish international.

The St M groundsman tells me there is an excellent drainage system at their new stadium.
I have to say though if it can handle the the sort of deluge we've had in Glasgow to-day, I'll be very impressed.

I remember a 0-1 vs St Mirren in those very conditions, sh*t weather and an even sh*tter result :grr:

When Willie MacFarlane was manager there was a dreadful day and by mid morning even the seats in the old stand were soaked. They thought they would get no crowd at all so just to make sure they hosed the ground until the ref arrived to declare it unplayable.
