For Steven Fletcher to not yet be a regular starter 2/3 years after his run in the U20 Euro's is shocking.

The first three games he was the RHS of the centre backs but for the last couple of games he has been on his favoured side due to his partnership with Ross Perry.

We need to fall a fair bit more to reach our expected level. This is based on population, GDP, average rainfall and winter daylight hours etc. One of the limiting factors is the smaller than average inside leg measurement of many Scots ( duck's disease as it is known). This will always hinder our nation's ability to compete in any athletic sports.
