I'm taking my wife and her parents to see Andrea Bocelii at the SECC tomorrow.
We're staying at the Hilton, William Street, but I don't know where to take them for a bite to eat first.
Any suggestions?

Don't know where William Street is but if you are anywhere near the Merchant City I'd go to Cafe Gandolfi (you probably know it already)

Brian Maule's restaurant in West Regent Street, Chandon D'or is damned good mate. Best I have had in Glasgow lately.

Depends what you're looking for D. Last time I was through there we went to Di Maggios (http://www.dimaggios.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=34&Itemid=62) at Exchange Square - it was excellent.

Thanks for the ideas.
I think my in-laws will be paying for dinner, so I'll give them your suggestions.
I'm hoping for Chandon D'or though. :greengrin

Nice little restaurant on Dumbarton Road called Bibi
Lovely little mexican restaurant. Great food and service, plus not far from the SECC at all.

We ended up going to the Livingroom.
I had fillet steak. Simple but tasty.
I manage to extract a promise to visit Brian Maule's next time though.
